Who is responsible

Pelita Kode provides BadMan and decides how the app’s optional analytics and crash reports are handled. Contact us at support@pelitakode.id for privacy questions or requests.

Data kept on your device

BadMan stores session details in its local database so the app can work offline. This includes session and player names, avatars, availability, court and game format, rotations, teams, match status, scores, point history, and undo state. Language, theme, and telemetry choices are also stored locally.

BadMan has no account system and no BadMan cloud sync. Local session data is not sent to us by the app.

Your operating system or backup provider may include app data in a device backup, depending on your settings. Those backups are controlled by you and the platform provider.

Usage analytics

Usage analytics are enabled by default in production releases. You can turn them off at any time in Settings → Privacy controls.

BadMan uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand basic app activity. Firebase assigns a resettable app-instance identifier and may process app opens, session statistics, app version, language, device and operating-system information, and approximate region derived from the network connection.

BadMan sends allowlisted events for actions such as creating or reusing a session, generating rounds, starting or finishing games, changing player availability, swapping players, opening the score counter, recording that scoring was used, and changing language or theme. Large counts are grouped into ranges.

Custom analytics events never include player names, session names, or exact scores. They also exclude internal player, match, or session IDs, email addresses, and free-form text. BadMan disables advertising identifiers, IDFV, SSAID, ad personalization, and automatic screen reporting in its Firebase configuration.

Turning analytics off stops future analytics collection from that app installation and resets its local Analytics identifier. Reports already aggregated by Google may remain. You may contact us about a data request.

Crash reports

Crash reports are enabled by default in production releases. You can turn them off at any time in Settings → Privacy controls.

BadMan uses Sentry for technical crash reports. A report can contain a controlled error code, stack frames, app release and build, device family and model, operating-system version, and runtime version. Sentry and network infrastructure may receive connection metadata such as an IP address while delivering a report.

BadMan removes free-form error text and does not send player or session details, exact scores, app requests, user profiles, breadcrumbs, screenshots, view hierarchy, screen recordings, replay, performance traces, or advertising identifiers to Sentry.

Turning crash reports off closes the Sentry client and stops future reports from that installation.

Retention and deletion

Local data remains until you remove it, clear the app’s storage, or uninstall the app, subject to device backups. Provider data is kept only while reasonably needed to understand use, investigate faults, protect the service, or meet legal duties. Provider settings and backup deletion cycles affect exact removal timing.

This website

This is a static website with no client-side analytics, cookies, forms, advertising, or tracking scripts. Vercel hosts the site and may process ordinary request metadata such as IP address, user agent, requested path, time, and security signals to deliver and protect it.

Sharing and international processing

We use Google, Sentry, Vercel, and their infrastructure providers only to provide analytics, diagnostics, hosting, security, and support. We do not sell BadMan data or use it for advertising. These providers may process data in countries where they operate under their own safeguards and terms. We may also disclose information when law requires it or to protect rights and safety.

Support messages

If you email support, we receive the address, message, and attachments you choose to send. Please avoid sending player names, scores, or identifying screenshots unless they are necessary to explain the problem. Email providers process these messages separately from the BadMan app.

Children

BadMan is a general-audience utility and does not ask for age or create user accounts. Organizers should use initials or nicknames when entering information about children and obtain any permission required in their location.

Your choices and rights

You can disable analytics and crash reports independently in the app. To remove local app data, follow the deletion steps on the Support page. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing. Contact support@pelitakode.id and we will assess the request under applicable law.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when BadMan, its providers, or legal requirements change. We will update the date above and provide any additional notice required by law.
